LIFE EXPECTANCY RATES:
Life expectancy is a statistical measure of the average time an organism is expected to live, based on the year of their birth, their current age and other demographic factors including sex.
In the first graph we can appreciate the life expectancy for males in Colombia, which indicates that their life expectancy has been increasing over the years, going from 69,9 years in 2011 to 70,9 years in 2016, it can be expected to continue increasing at a small rate by 2017.
In the second graph we can appreciate the life expectancy for females in Colombia, which indicates that their life expectancy has been increasing over the years, going from 77,2 years in 2011 to 78,0 years in 2016, it can be expected to continue increasing at a small rate by 2017.
The life expectancy rate is higher for women than for men in Colombia, girls are supposed to live about 7,1 years longer than boys, this condition may be due to their lifestyle.
