ENDANGERED SPECIES:
Colombia is one of the richest countries in terms of flora and fauna but with the large number of species it has more than 10000 different species along insects, reptiles, fish and mammals. Where an estimate of 1000 species are endangered with around 170 being on a critical state. This is one big concern because there are several cultural factors that affect directly the life of these animals, one example of this can be the illegal mining that happens along the country, the expansion of agriculture further into the woods and trafficking of exotic animals that live in our forests.
According to data released by the IUCN critically endangered or threatened, 87 species of animals, 36 of flora, 148 faunas, flora 98, while other 374 are vulnerable.
