Population changes by city, county, state, region and country

DANE did a forecast to 2020 where showed the different changes on the population by cities and regions.

 

The statistics let us observe that the five cities with more population will be Bogota (8’380.801), Medellin (2’569.007), Cali (2’496.444 ), Barranquilla (1’239.518) and Cartagena (1’057.445).

On the other hand, the regions which have more population will be Cundinamarca (more than 11 milion of people), Antioquia (6’845.093), Valle del cauca (4’853.327), Bolivar (2’219.139) and Santander (2’110.580).

 

In conclusion, we can see that the biggest cities will have the majority percentage of population in Colombia.
