Attitudes toward authority
Attitude toward authority is important to a country because give the confidence to the government to do some changes in differents areas of a country.
According to the World Values Survey, conducted in 100 countries, 70 percent of Colombians do not trust civil servants and 80 percent believe that there should be more respect for authority. And when there is no trust or credibility in the rules, they do not comply neither obeyed. Justice is one of the most serious problems. The most recent Gallup poll revealed that 75 percent of respondents have a bad image of this institution in any developed country, it is the backbone of the peaceful coexistence and the symbol of the rule of law works.
In conclusion, Colombia's population doesn't believe in authority for differents reasons, and this does not comply with the rules, norms and laws.
