In December of the last year more than 200,000 foreigners visited Colombia, most of them for tourism purposes. This dynamic definitely shows that the country is consolidating as a world-class destination and that tourism remains a very important activity for Colombians. Foreigners with more visits to Colombia came from the United States (45,932), Venezuela (39,504), Ecuador (13,433), Brazil (12,207), Mexico (10,114) and Argentina (9,776). With these percentages we can see that even if in other countries some of them think that Colombia is a country full of violence and narco lifestyles, we receive all type of foreigners with warm arms.
