ATTITUDES TOWARDS WORK:

 

 An attitude refers to our opinions, beliefs, and feelings about aspects of our environment. At work, two particular job attitudes have the greatest potential to influence how we behave. These are job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

 

“La satisfacción que las personas tienen en su trabajo es un factor fundamental para no manejar estrés y vivir de una manera más tranquila y armoniosa”(Caracol radio,2017)

People in Colombia have a positive thinking towards its work, as the level of unemployment have decrease it is still hard to find good jobs or at least a job and that’s one of the reasons why people really appreciate the work that they have. But that doesn’t mean that they enjoy their jobs. A recent study published by the newspaper “El Pais” showed that 71% of the people in Colombia is not happy at work. This means that out of 21,2 million people in Colombia 15million are unhappy and they just go to work because they have to and not because they want to.

 

The 41% of the People in Colombia said that they prefer to work on a stable emotional environment at work than getting higher wages.

 

In conclusion and thanks to the investigation shown on the newspaper people are not unhappy with their works because of wages, environment but the most important is because they do not to what they love and what they are expecting about their life projects.
